Researchers
TCECEED grants all researchers internal and external researchers the opportunities to strengthen and advance their potential capabilities in clean energy R&D. With the support of national and international funding opportunities, students and graduates are given ample opportunities with the highest regard to showcasing their R&D initiatives because of their expected roles in the next generation of knowledge propagation. In addition, independent senior researchers are also allowed to nurture and sustain their expertise to conduct research that is beneficial to TCECEED focal areas of interest to serve as inspiration to other researchers and young scholars.
Internship
The internship-based programmes of TCECEED are meant for students and graduates of the polytechnic sector to help create a national pool of skilled technicians and technologists. TCECEED is committed to supporting and advancing the professional development of young scientists, technicians, technologists and engineers through rigorous informal practical training (short courses) in skill development programmes in clean energy and its entrepreneurship development. The internship programme of TCECEED is conducted for a maximum period of 6 months under the supervision of an experienced professional based on the following criteria:
▪ Eligibility: Graduates of National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND) and Bachelor of Science or Engineering.
▪ Terms and Conditions: The internship programmes cover practical training structured based on short courses, mentorship by the training supervisors, working on impactful projects before graduation and provision of financial stipend by TCECEED.
▪ Advertisement: Proper advertisement will be rolled out on the TCECEED website for any internship opportunity and strict adherence to the rules and the procedure must be followed to be selected.
